Another player will take it as their walkup song, due to the crowd appeal

No.

Someone should use Tiny Dancer or some crap.

Steve Miller Band - The Joker
Rolling Stones - Beast of Burden
Biz Markie - Just a Friend
Rick Springfield - Jessies Girl
Elton John - Bennie and the Jets

If Morse doesn't take it, I'm not sure it's right to keep it.

If he doesn't take it I think it's because he wants us to have it/use it.

I still like the idea of it being our 7th inning stretch - that would be totally fun -

I don't think I'd like it if any other player used it - unless it's the entrance song for our Closer for the top of the 9th - that would really get the crowd going

That would be cool. I think this should be the only situation really. But again, I don't think anyone should use it.

+1  It could be our version of "Sweet Caroline"

Morse getting moved for scraps isn't an undervaluation by people on this board... it's a likely reality. If you read most people's posts about Morse, they realize it's impossible to get fair market value for him... we're resigned to the fact that it'll likely be a small piece in return and not what a slugger could/might bring.

Whiffed on this one, I guess (yours just happened to be the first "new" post when I clicked on the link)
