That I don't know.  Apparently they agreed this morning so I would think fairly soon.

Any info on terms?  2/$25M?

If I am wrong I am wrong...I don't think I am.  My source is 2nd hand but 2nd hand to someone who would DEFINITELY know.

Sweet, you know Donnie the club level usher too?

Regardless if you are right or wrong on this LaRoche thing, the Terrence comment makes you alright in my book.

Hopefully if he does sign, Rizzo is on the phone with the M's pulling off a Morse and HRod for Luetge and Capps deal.  Maybe he is trying for Brandon Maurer too!

Capps, Furbush, and Maurer.

If we trade Morse, I bet it is to the Yankees.  It makes too much sense to put Morse in the stadium.  And I think  the New York media would love him.  I have no idea what we'd get back.  Maybe a bullpen arm and another prospect (another TJ guy maybe?).

His source is PANATs brother, which makes it Mark Lerner.

I would hate that because Morse is one of those guys I'll continue to root for and that would mean in this offseason I would have picked up a rooting interest in a Phillie and an Yankee

That's nice. Maybe Rizzo won't be able to get what he wants for Morse and we can keep him.

Credit where it's due -- SkinsNDeacs wasn't making it up.

This is great news for the Nats.  Morse, we shall miss ye....but I'm looking forward to a lefty reliever.

106.7 The Fan reports that both Adam Kilgore and Buster Olney are reporting this.

DaveyJohnson stated recently that Morse would be traded if LaRoche signed, as you cannot keep a starter like him on the bench,

He's gonna move eventually.  Wouldn't be shocked though if it stretched in to spring training.  Keep an eye on ST injuries.  Might open up opportunities that may not be there right now.
