The United were fortunate not to give up multiple goals in that first half, then what a momentum change, from down a man and seemingly down a goal to even sided and still tied, wow! What a series, more own goals than offensive goals, three red cards, some hard tackles, and a wondrous final game winner. Gotta check the family calendar and clear my schedule for another home game!

Hope we're not jinxing it but my office crew is already planning the tailgate party. This might rival or even surpass our Nats opening day tailgates. Gotta beat Houston.

That is just badass.  I mised the game (was on a plane), but damn, way to freak over Garber's evil plan.

Schedule shows 4 PM start on the 18th.    Life must be gettin' good.    DC United at 4 and the Steelers/Ravens at 8:30 PM.   I think I can catch the soccer live and make it home to watch the Sunday night cage match as well.

PS    I don't wanna be in the drums and flags.   Which side is opposite of that?

Good sports day. The US Grand Prix in Austin is that afternoon as well. DVR gonna get a workout that weekend.

I got an e-mail from LivingSocial with a promo for that game. Here's the link in case anyone who doesn't already have tickets is interested: https://www.livingsocial.com/events/525534-d-c-united-playoff-ticket-package

That living social thing appears sold out

The rowdy side is what was left field. Or the side that does not include 104. I have seats in 104. If anybodhad rowdy seats and doesn't want them, I'll trade you

The rowdy side is closer to Metro, what used to be left field. The quiet side is closer to lot 8,what used to be the first base side. The quiet side has drums but no smoke bombs and no one throws their beers after the United score.

I do try to avoid smoke bombs.   :P

One thing though: if you do opt for the 'quiet side', much of it is behind the players' benches, and if it rains (or threatens to do so) they put rain shelters over the players' benches which can block out quite a bit of the view (as I remember well from my days as a Freedom STH).

To avoid this, pick a seat in the 200 level or higher and avoid the 100's.

Won't be a problem based on the tickets available.  100s and 200s from end line to end line are sold out, only the 300 level is left.  Almost nothing at all left on the rowdy side.  (For the MLS Cup they'll open up the 400 level so it will be easier to get good seats.)

What a waste of a sub, stupid decision allowing Party Boy to take the field.
