i could have sworn the won the most games in the AL this past season.

They will still go into next year with a pretty good lineup, and their rotation isn't bad with CC, Nova, Hughes, and Kuroda.  They also still have Betances and Banuelos in the minors (who are good trade chips even though they struggled this past year.  They have a hell of a lot of cash to go out and get a Dan Haren, Mike Napoli, or that guy in Texas who would instantly revitalize their lineup.

A 2013 lineup of:
Jeter
Ichiro
Cano
Tex
Hamilton
Granderson
Martin
A-Rod
Napoli

with staff of CC, Nova, Haren, Kuroda, and Hughes is going to be a contender.
