Well, the media is going to want to throw some awards the Nats way, so some of the prominent guys will probably draw support.  desi is kind of the face of the year over year improvement in the team in the field (in contrast to the Harper story line, which is the new face story).  Desi deservedly has admirers.  He was an all star player / manager selection, and is the acknowledged leader, and did not let pressure moments get to him too often. 

Yet you were not asked if Desmond kicked your dog.

Go figure.
