Jordan didn't have a good inning but he got squeezed a bit in the beginning. If our offense continues like it has with RISP it doesn't matter any way, that's my bigger concern at this point.

Give the Cardinals some credit:  they hit good pitches and went the opposite way.  It was a good lesson - hope the boys were paying attention.

Now's the time to find out a bit about this team's character:  no panic, good at bats, stay within themselves.  They're into the StL bullpen.  Four runs in seven innings is not impossible.  Zim2N shakes off the bad inning and the good guys win this running away.

That pitch was 6 inches outside. Why didn't Zimmerman complain?

So you swing at crap in the dirt, yet you don't swing at hit-table stuff?

FOH!

The funny thing is we aren't even facing great pitching in this series. The Cards' starters and bullpen are pretty average. And none of our studs can do jack crap. I don't get it.

Apparently they moved Stanford near the Rockies.

Top of our order has done nothing so far this series.  That needs to change.

lol commentator called last inning "a four run uprising."  Never heard that word in baseball before.

They pay the other team, too.

And their pitching is not very good. I'm not afraid of any of their starters nor bullpen arms. Totally beatable. Much rather face them than the Reds, Braves, Giants.

Our offense needs to sack the freak up and hit the ball for power and with runners on base.

On the bright side - them this deep in the bull pin early on will help us down the line.
