outstanding bounceback outing from Edwin, we need that type of performance if he's pitching the home opener of the NLDS

No one ever wants to see Chein Ming Wang, not even Mrs. Ming Wang.

You mean the one he cheated on or the one he cheated with?

It is so rewarding to be beating the Phils today. I mean, I know it doesn't mean much, but it feels so good. And to be .6something for the season...

Assuming we win.

Edit: .605 for the season. Damn.

Why did the ump walk halfway to Jackson to throw a ball?

The ball had just struck him very close to a "sensitive area" so he needed a little time to gather himself and walk it off. Also, umpires will do that at times as a courtesy to the catcher if the catcher gets nailed by a foul tip. Catchers will also do the same for umpires.

HOLD IT RIGHT NOW!

My daughter just emailed to say that TEDDY WON!

If that's true, then who cares about minor details like Tyler Moore getting his 10th HR?? When is the celebration? How many bottles of champagne? Should I go to the Teddy Roosevelt statue in front of the (NYC) Museum of natural History and but a laurel crown on his head? Like the old Olympic champions???
