Possible Rain Out?
« Topic Start: September 26, 2012, 02:13:12 AM »
So according to Weather.com, it looks like rain on Monday :(

If we clinch the division before then (God I hope we clinch soon) and it rains, would they still play the game on 10/3 or would they just cancel it?

They won't play it if it doesn't factor into postseason scenarios in any way.

They would play the game on Tuesday or Wednesday, regardless of whether it means anything in the standings.

You are putting stake in a 5 day forecast?   Don't you know they just use random forecast generators based on seasonal averages after the 3rd day?

Accuweather has Monday as mostly cloudy with a 10% chance of rain.  Weatherbug has Monday as mostly sunny.  I tell you, it is all just random generators!

They ought to eliminate weather reports on the TV news and expand sports to fill in the time.

Why bother? Who needs 10 more minutes of half-assed baseball coverage or more on the Skins back up long snapper...
