I hope I'm not hoarse tomorrow so I can keep cheering!

Nothing that a few gin and tonic drinks won't cure.

Tickets purchased, will be there with the gf tomorrow night, absolutely no question.

Would be good to meet.  this will be my first baseball playoff game since Os-Indians in 1997 (we'll not count NCAA Eastern Regionals and MLS Cups).

Folks who were there - Is meeting in the Red Loft in a spot still possible or is it so crowded you can't do it?

It was pretty damn crowded 1/2 hour before start time, no clue about 2.5 hours before start time.

It isn't impossible but it would not be pleasant. It reminds me of a crowded college bar. I'd say picking a part of the scoreboard walk would be a better bet but there are no happy hour specials for the playoffs.

but that is admitting defeat!

I'm guessing getting to the Porch bar is going to be tough, so the customary up and down the spiral stair case to the Loft would not work.  I like having a view of the field before the game.  Let's take some suggested spots.

Some ice cream during the debate helped a lot.

Made a decision.  We make it to the Series, I'm coming to DC - whether I get tickets or not.

 The SRO crowd will camp out directly in front of your view. I expect them in mass tonight.

If you want a view of the field the best bet would be under section 222 at the overhang next to the staircase. There is a baseline brews or some such there.
