Capital Weather Gang NatCast for today has 'No rain delays like they saw up at Camden Yards earlier in the week. We break free of the cloudy skies just in time for the first-ever playoff game at Nationals Park. Enjoy!' with mid-60's at first pitch, near 70 at 9th inning, 10% chance of rain.

We're in 418 J. Think I will be heading out to the ballpark shortly. Since I prefer to drive to games, I want to allow a little extra time just in case my usual parking area gets filled up sooner than normal. Guess I'll head to the Red Loft. I have on a 2005 authentic BP jersey (red with the interlocking "DC" logo, no name/number) and a 2005 BP hat.....and a red Capitals windbreaker since it's that or a black golf jacket.

We may be behind you (we are in 418 K).

I just went outside and it is warm enough to forego a jacket (rolling the dice on no long extra-inning game). It's a perfect day weather-wise and so I'm heading there now, just can't concentrate anymore!

Edited to add: The display in the car says 67 degrees in the shade.

Parking filling up EARLY. I got here at 11:05 and usual secret spots are jammed.

Red Loft not packed yet!

There IS a bit of a breeze down here. It's not as warm as the number suggests (though still quite nice).

Thanks. Getting on the bus to get to the metro, hope to make it before first pitch.

Red bar towel.

At least, I view it as a bar towel although it's flimsier. Curly "W" and #NATITUDE.

Where are good places to stand if you have SRO tickets? Thinking about getting one for tomorrow.

Probably the best place, if you like a higher view of the field, is around section 312.  Alternately, the Red Loft and the scoreboard walk are great places if you don't have a seat.

There's a nice cut away on the 2d deck between the S& S club and the 220s.  Good spot.

Great time, bad outcome.

To whoever recognized me and called out my screen name while I was walking towards the center field gate from the metro.... Sorry I didn't hear you at first, I was in awe of the crowd and atmosphere.
