Assuming we win the division and HFA, we play the first two games of the NLDS on the road, correct?  So "game 1" tickets are actually for "game 3" and so on?

Yes. And "game 1" tickets should actually be called "home game 1"....

Surprisingly I was able to get the tickets I wanted this time around with the non insider sale.   Going to game 1 with PANatsfan!

Curious what section and how many you were able to get. I didn't try until 11:30 and everything was more or less gone.

I got 4 tickets this morning for home game 1 in section 241. I happened to log in before 10, at like 9:55, and was put in the queue.

I got on the waiting list around 9:55AM and was able to get tickets by 10:05AM. I could get up to 4 tickets in any section - I was surprised they had every section available. I bought 2 in 417, row E.

Gonna have to use StubHub :(

Don't despair. I think prices will drop. And check out other resellers besides SH. They have different inventory and sometimes better prices. Try http://cuttingedgetickets.com and http://www.viagogo.com.

I am assuming for the WC or tie-breaker game, right? I'm thinking those were available because people don't think the Nats will have to play those at this point. The NLDS was gone by the time I got there.

Awesome. I didn't think they would have much for NLDS by then!

Nothing left anymore. Stub Hub or bust

Do ya'll think they will do that policy where they leave a certain amount of tickets available at the box office and only sell them two hours before game time?

When the Rockies made the wild card against the Braves (seems like ages ago) I went to the first game (a friend won the ticket lottery for tickets through the Denver Post and took me).  As we were walking in to game 1 about an hour before the game we noticed the ticket office was open with people in line.  I got in line, just to see what was going on and it turns out the Braves released tickets for game 2 that they wouldn't use so I got 2 tix for game 2 right behind the 3rd base bag for the next night.

Always pays to keep looking in case there are ticket drops.

They were for the 1st NLDS game. I had to get in early - by 9:55 AM. We already had 3 tickets but we needed 2 more, so was able to get the last two.

I wonder how much of a dogfight the NLCS and World Series tickets will be.

Check online around nine am the morning of the games, they're holding seats back to offer for people who buy 2013 plans, for VIP's, and for wheelchair accessible.

Promising stuff, looks like there's legitimately high demand for playoff tickets.  I've been watching stubhub too and I've noticed that Nationals tickets are more scarce than the other two division leaders (i.e. teams most sure of an NLDS appearance) and have been becoming more so.

so if some of you were able to get any section for NLDS I guess that confirms the Nats held tickets back from the Insider Presale for the public tickets.

They'll sell when the sellers stop asking for crazy dollars. The prices will start to come down as the first game approaches, IMO.

People on twitter saying they have received hard tickets today. Anyone here got 'em?

Almost 50 tickets have sold today for game 1, just under 2% of the total available.  For those lucky enough to get sales the prices are high.  Resale prices in the Presidents Club and Diamond Club in particular have sold with huge markups.  Of course the other 98% of ticket sellers are hoping that demand continues to rise.

The screen shot below is obviously missing the section number, which is a fairly important piece of information, this view contains all StubHub sales for today, I could find the sales per section by clicking on the individual sections.

I got the extra tickets I bought for the NLDSyesterday, but haven't received my strip yet, which I ordered before the extra ones.

Warning - they're in a plain looking white envelope that resembles a mortgage solicitation.

If anyone received physical NLDS tickets, you might as well frame them, because they'll never be used.

Called my ticket Rep today.  Said ticket strips should be mailed out (from printer or offsite location starting tomorrow.  You'll get an email with a tracking number because they WILL need t be signed for!  These are the strips that ST holders put their deposit on.
