Chris Meyers clearly has some sort of issue with the Nationals being good.

He's a dikweed.    He's a dikweed on NASCAR too.   He's more of an entertainment suit.

These are not really "national" Fox announcers are they?

How many more hits are they going to get, good lord. Jordan can't contain them

Take his freaking ass out, Davey!

Jordan can't pitch against this team. Period.

Third straight terrible start from Zimmermann. He's back to early season form. Way, way too hittable. Needs to learn how to throw a changeup. He is a two pitch pitcher.

This is what Verducci wrote today at si.com:

Quote
1. Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg will be shut down after two or three more starts. GM Mike Rizzo admirably will stick to his plan to protect the future of the franchise and the health and earning power of Strasburg. (Mark Prior, the prequel to Strasburg without an innings limit, wound up making $12.8 million in the big leagues because of injuries, or about half of what Joe Blanton has made to date in his nine seasons.)
Rizzo could have been more creative about managing Strasburg's innings in the second half to get him into October, but Strasburg isn't Justin Verlander, either, especially this deep into the year. He has thrown six innings or less in 21 of his 26 starts, never seen the eighth inning this year and in his past 12 starts is 6-5 with a 3.80 ERA. His team is 6-6 in those 12 starts.

I’m sure they forgot the last line where he ends it with “The Nationals shouldn’t just shut him down but should DFA his sorry ass!”

Normally, I'd call you an idiot.

But given we've only used our bullpen one inning thus far this series, and it's September 1st.. yeah, no harm in using the bullpen early.

Shut the freak up, Rosenthal. He is so biased against Rizzo and the Nationals.

There's NO controversy, Ken. Just shut your freaking mouth.

SHUT THE freak UP you dolt. There's no controversy. All real fans understand the plan and don't want to burn him out.

Jordan was 0-2 with an 8.62 ERA against the Cardinals coming into this game. Now those numbers get even uglier :spaz:

It's easy to tell the difference..he didn't think Espi's pop-up behind the plate was a home run
