Medlen is gooooooood

A dominant ace but people on here refuse to believe it. He's going to be huge down the stretch for Atlanta.

Stammen getting up now.   He'd better hurry.

Ross is a one pitch pitcher. That's not going to cut it as a starter. He has no confidence in his offspeed pitches. Opposing hitters can sit fastball.

Det is done.  This better be his last hitter.

Really need some offense and a good rest of the inning by Stammen. 2 of 3's good, but it would be nice to make as big an uphill battle for the Braves as possible.

I love this Harper kid. He takes good routes when he jumps the right way first, but he looks a bit like a spaz while he's doing it. I guarantee you that he will get a fair number of guys out over the years because they think he has no play on the ball and he doubles them up off of a good catch.

Only when he's in CF though. Not sure why that is ...

Medlen looks like a fine pitcher. I don't know about dominant, but no team has been able to hit him much, so until somebody does I guess the kid is an ace.

I think Ross is one of those pitchers that really struggle and start giving up hard liners when his stuff goes. Other guys, like Gio or Jackson tend to give up long flies first before getting really smacked around. But Ross goes from strikes to hard singles. That's rough for any pitcher.
