And that will do it. He deserved that for walking the pitcher.

Prado is a very good hitter. Walk him next time.

How can you not throw ONE strike to the pitcher?

That is so unacceptable. Get the pitcher out and you are out of the inning. Prado is far and away their best overall hitter, you can't walk the pitcher and have to face him with the winning run on second base.

That matchup shouldn't have happened that inning.  It's all because he walked the pitcher, and it's going to be tough to scrape together two runs against Medlen.

Simple solution, score runs, you're number 5 starter will give up a few runs from time-to-time

Our pitchers throw too many balls. Besides Jordan all of our starters tend to dance around the zone and walk more batters than they should.

Things are bad when they throw Kristina at us twice in the first few innings.    They're trying to distract us from the BS going on in the field.

The offense isn't scoring tonight. Kimbrel and co. will be in store in case Medlen doesn't go 9 innings. Ross needed to be perfect tonight and he made a mistake that no pitcher should ever make.

I'm really getting sick of our hitters looking at fastballs over the plate for strike three :bang:

With that pitch count, Medlen might go CG.

3-1 count groundout :lmao:

This game was over after that early DP with runners on the corners and 1 out. Had to score at least a run there to have a chance. Oh well, Atlanta stays alive for the division instead of being buried with a loss in this one. Take 2 of 3 this weekend in Philly and we'll be okay.

Well, taking two of three this series is definitely good.  If that's the way it ends up, we can't complain too much.
