I like how Braves fans on their forums are questioning if the Nats ever lose, just like we question if they ever lose :lmao:

The Giants are the team that scares me most in the NL.

Everybody plays everybody.  How do you think the Braves feel about playing 27 of 50 on the road while the Nats get 27 of 49 at home?
Thats hardly a difference. When do they have to face a real team again that actually wants to win?

As luck would have it, Jackson's numbers aren't good at Chase Field.  Not as bad as Coors Field but still not good.

Alright ...  we're settin' 'em up for the fail.    Gettin' 'em over confident.

There's an ABFF?

braves-nation.com . Not as active as WNFF but enjoy looking at the end of their GDT to see them discussing/cursing the Nats.

none of the teams they play actually want to win.  The astros accidentally took one from them despite their disdain for victory.

Then we are freaked if that's the case. We can't keep this pace up but they can against these terrible teams.

After the visit by San Diego, they get Dodgers, @Nats, @Giants all in a row with out an off day plus another 3 in San Diego (still no off day) before getting Philly again.  Braves play every day Aug 10-29 with out a break.

hey maybe we'll get a chance to make a nice comeback against their bullpen.  Been a few games since we did that.  I'm pumped.

12 games against the soft NL West, goody, half of those vs the lowly Padres.

By the way, we still get the Cubs and Brewers at home so it's not like we have a bunch of world-beaters in non-division play.  And the Braves still have to play the Dodgers and Giants.

It's harder than our schedule.  Significantly.

That wasn't my point, he said they don't play anybody trying to win ball games.

Braves also close the season @ Pittsburgh, both teams could either be fighting for their playoff lives, or where that play-in game will be hosted.

The Padres are actually playing well.  Over the last post cortisone 42 games, the Padres have the 7th best winning percentage in the majors at .575;

We'll see who rises to the challenge. The Braves seem to have an answer to every run or streak we go on.

You still expect them to not get swept in Atlanta?
