After seeing another one run win, does anyone know "why" winning more than about 50% of your one run games is unsustainable?
To me, it would seem that great teams will win more one run games if they tend to be up two or three in the late innings than vice versa.
It's that but also that when we're ahead the players have the talent and the drive to stay ahead. You saw how dominant Jackson was after we got ahead, even if it was just for an inning or so. He was having an OK/mediocre outing and was inspired enough to pitch well.
It's pretty cool to see how hard these guys are fighting for wins
we can't assume any game is over until the last out.
