Wang back on the DL
« Topic Start: August 08, 2012, 07:31:51 PM »
After last nights game which he didn't last 5 innings the Nats placed Wang on the DL with hip soreness. He was eligible to return on Aug 11th when his 30 day rehab assignment was up.

Come October we'll probably never see him again.

It sucks to see Wang blow his last shot in DC but I guess he couldn't shoulder the load required to build back up the strength and stamina required to perform at a satisfactory level.

I bet he gets a September call up for basically no reason.

Wang is soft.   Not much you can do with a soft wang.

This is all premature.  He'll be back in September.

As probably his biggest remaining fanboi on this board, I certainly hope so.

Wang has been way too inconsistent to satisfy me.

This is all premature.  He'll be back in September.

He could get some spot starts AFTER we clinch our play-off spot. Just to ease the fatigue factor for the regular SP.

It would be great if they made him go nine to get their money's worth, preferably back to back days

Well...who knows? Wang used to be good. Maybe he's recovered. I trust Lannan, but what's the harm in having CMW makes some minor-league starts?
