To quote a video game character: "I'll take a bloody victory over a clean loss any day."

You missed the point. Just this years team with this group of players is special. I've loved the Nats for years. But this team in particular has just such an awesome chemistry that it really bleeds over into the fans I feel like. I feel like I know these guys and can connect with them, as lame as that sounds.

I think the evolution of twitter/social media plays a part in that too.

Roger Bernadina may have just made a catch that tops the Mike Trout Top Web Gem. We'll show it again on Baseball Tonight on ESPN2. #Nats

I was very confused when that Super Mario fella kept talking to himself. He mentioned Wil Nieves but then he said... "Who?" and had the same reaction I did because I had never heard of this Wil Nieves character.

 I was just thinking about what the radio call was like on that play.  Gotta wait for the archive to go up, though.

Whatever I've payed for MLB TV this year was just worth it.  I'm sitting in a hotel room in Omaha and got to watch the end of the game live on my laptop.  Wow....what a game, what a catch, what a country!!!

Bernadina's catch #1 on Sportscenter's top ten.

lol BBTN is questioning if Bernadina's catch was better than Trout's vs the Orioles. One of the commentators wouldn't answer but said Trout is better than Bernadina (no crap).

So they have a poll on ESPN to see which is better. Obviously Trout's is going to win but Bernadina's catch is 10x better.
