You can see one kid have a greater immediate impact in bball, but a kid like Diggs can really help down the road even if it isn't in instant gratification. And yes, I know that Locksley is the ace recruiter more than Edsel but it does seem like the parents of recruits really like Edsel, but then again, that could be a mindfact...

Unfortunately, Dorian O'Daniel (Clemson) and Kendall Fuller (VT) are headed elsewhere...but the GC to MD pipeline will continue.

Vellano? Probably. I saw one projection that had him at a 6th-7th round pick right now. His size will be a problem unless he adds on 10-20 pounds. Not athletic enough to be a 4-3 DE and too small to be a good 4-3 DT, but like hammonds said he's an effort guy so I think he hangs on as a backup.

At 6'2" 285 he's close to being big enough to play DE in a 3-4 scheme if he's strong enough. He can probably easily put on the extra 10-15 pounds.

Hopefully he gets drafted because if he doesn't the chances are that since he played at MD he will get a look from Washington.
