He needs to stop recruiting QB's made of glass.

Not a problem, we've gotten rid of all those guys now.

So it's Edsall's fault for recruiting QBs who tear their ACLs on fluke plays?

Ok.

Dear God... Speaking of perfect storms... Terps just can't buy a break, can they?

isn't that the problem (well tearing more than breaking)

Just a dreadful, dreadful game. I hope FSU blows us out next week. If thats what it takes to see Bryan Stinespring should be drawn and quartered once on South Main in Blacksburg so be it.

I have tickets for the FSU game.  Its probably gonna be wayyy too cold for me to go sit outside and watch the beating they are about to receive.

Stinespring isn't the OC anymore.

I'll save you the ride there - Logan Thomas will throw 3 INTs, account for the entire ground game, get sacked in the end zone, and get injured before halftime.  Frank Beamer will stand on the sidelines with his "who farted" face when a game saving 80 yard TD bomb gets nullified because of offensive pass interference.  Bud Foster will look like he'd rather be at Sharkey's in Radford in the third quarter and Bryan "Inside Handoff" Stinespring will be playing Tetris upstairs waiting for his paycheck to arrive.

Final score - FSU 73, VT 9.

That is the worst VT team I have ever seen. Does anyone think there's been a worse VT team since 92?

They are awful.

If they hadn't converted Logan Thomas to QB this would be a 2-10 team.  There's ZERO contribution from the RBs, there's no TE, the SEs are trash, the KR/PRs are a joke, the OL must be drinking White Lightning prior to every game, and there is no game plan.  The defense is middling and young but also look like trash.  This might be the worst secondary they've ever had.

Watching Maryland football (outside of Diggs) is like watching Espinosa try and hit or PA defend his agenda.  Just painful.

Injuries aside, Edsall never should'be been named the coach.

I give you respect for your ability to cling to a belief and never, ever change it. Lerners, Edsall, wanting BJ Upton, etc. Impressive.

Mike Leach is 2-6 this season at Washington State.

Thinking about watching Pitt/ND at 3:30.    Is it just me (probably) but I have no interest in seeing AL/LSU?

Look at Edsalls track record...nothing impressive.

And there were other options out there.

But keep defending bowl-less Edsall!

I'm not defending Edsall. Who knows how this season would have gone if we didn't lose 4 quarterbacks for the season? Like I said last week, he was terrible last season and deserved a lot of the criticism he got. He's still far from Nick Saban but I can't throw this season on his shoulders, especially when we were looking bowl-game bound through six weeks.

I'm just not going to harp on the fact that Edsall was hired two years after the fact. He's the coach, and I'm actually rooting for him to do well instead of rooting for him to fail.

Am I rooting for him/terps to fail?  No way in Hell.

But he isn't getting the job done.  It's that simple.
