In September and for the playoffs. If he concentrates in the cage, think of what he could be next year during an enitre season.

He's hit a lot of balls hard, plus he's taken five walks in three games.  This team needs someone with that kind of plate discipline.

Yes, agree, the walks have been good.

But the announcers are making such a big deal of Werth's hitting and he hasn't gotten an "honest" hit yet.

I am hoping he will.

I'm an admitted member of the Werth Hate Club and I'd be happiest guy in the world if he hits up a tear this year but ...

Every "hit" he has had since being back has been a grounder or a weak reaching stab to protect against two strikes.

He hasn't driven a ball yet.

He did that a lot in Philly too.  That's just how he does it.  When a pitcher grooves one, he'll jump on it...unless it's the first pitch of the at bat.

I hear Kristina but I don't see her.

She could be reporting from home for that matter.

I remember him breaking our back time after time with little hits just like that one...

He did that a lot in Philly too.  That's just how he does it.  When a pitcher grooves one, he'll jump on it...unless it's the first pitch of the at bat.
