These threads are for prospects who are now in the majors or in another organization.  Should be locked by a moderator.  Anyone called up gets locked unless sent down with additional rookie eligibility time.

Updated to reflect David Freitas's trade to Oakland, the home for wayward Nats prospects.  So far, all prospects from FTP have either been called up the Nats or traded to Oakland, except Matt Antonelli.

Considering he was on the Yankees as a Rule 5 pick and just gave him back; yeah!

That's Brad Meyers.

Alex Meyer was our first round pick in 2011.

While we've had players like Komatsu and Brad Meyers come back from rule 5, and guys like Corey Brown sent back down, today we have the first revival fro a reaquisition.  AJ Cole, you make history!

Anthony Rendon added to the list of former prospects because he has exhausted his rookie status.

Doesn't Rendon need two more at bats to exhaust his prospect status? He has 128 right now, so isn't this a little premature, or do you just not want to wait until tomorrow?

I think we can say that Rizzo clearly won the Gio trade with Billy Beane. Probably by enough to make up for Willingham / HRod-Brown. On grounds that:

- Norris seems to be the backup catcher. Hitting about .210
- Milone has been a respectable pitcher...not an ace but not a failure.
- Cole, supposedly the high-value prospect, is back with the Nats. (And I mix up Cole and the two Meyers...)
- A's got an average starting catcher in the Morse deal...someone to replace Suzuki, who is a fine catcher though not a great hitter.
- Pea**** got traded to someplace like Houston, and was sent down. Seems like his 2011 season was the peak.

(Nats did not lose Purke, Ray, Solis, and Cole, now working up from Potomac and Harrisburg, with Giolito recovering from surgery. Of the position players from those drafts, the team has Harper and Rendon...current minors are not bulging with hitters)

I'm thinking Ian Krol has been up in the majors long enough to no longer qualify as a rookie.  B-R has him as first appearing on 6/5.  Also, Taylor Jordan has 35 innings.  When he gets to 40, he'll lose his rookie eligibility and "move on."  We will "lock" their the prospect threads for good at that time.

Ian Krol has definitely lost his eligibility. After Rendon graduated, Krol was briefly the number 20 prospect on mlb.com's Nationals top 20, but was replaced after a very short period of time after losing his prospect status.

I was tired of people posting in the FTP thread when guys were called up.

Makes sense, don't suppose temporarily retitling is an option?
