The Marlins are worse than the Astros.

Without Stanton or Ruggiano in the lineup that's certainly not a ludicrous statement.

Flores doesn't care anymore.  He knows he's finished.

That inning felt like it should have been bigger.

Lannan actually doing damn well dispite the mistakes of the first few innings. At least against an anemic offense.

We need Lannan to go at least 7 this afternoon to save the bullpen with the DH.

He needs to pitch like Detwiler. Never thought I would say that.

Lannan better go 9.

That would be fantastic. But right now, I just want 6 or 7

Lannan better go 9.

I'd love it but Davey will probably pull him at 90 pitches and then talk about protecting him.

Just got home.

They better show that bunt pop-up double-play during the post game show.

At least Lannan is taking full advantage of the run support and going right at the Marlins.

Makes me a little bit more confident in him joining the rotation when Stras is shut down.

Seriously?  Who else in baseball makes that play, much less make it look that easy?

Speaking of which, there are so few real DHs these days ... I assume there is some kind of Holliday/Knight type show between games?

What makes him so smooth IMHO is he acts like he's been there before  ...   no big deal  ..  I got it.

Gameday still doesn't have it. But apparently the bunt hit by Jose Reyes was worthwhile.
