Detwiler is refusing to give into these hitters tonight.

Take a page, meatball lovers.

I just noticed, the telecast is not filling up the whole screen.

It's like a letter-box film screen ratio.

Anyone else?

Let him pitch until he gets into big trouble. He's dominating. Save the pen

Quote
Mark Zuckerman ‏@MarkZuckerman
11 in a row retired by Detwiler, whose ERA in 7 starts since rejoining #Nats rotation is down to 2.23.

Wish Gio and Strasburg would take notes.  Dominate AND stay relatively low on the pitch count.

WTF was that?  LaR is the slowest runner on the team.

On Standard Definition? It's been that way since after the All Star Break. ;)

I kinda think with the pitcher on deck you might as well just send him and hope for a bad throw.

Bo Porter freaking sucks, oh my god.

No, that was the right play, he doesn't have much of an arm in RF, especially with Detwiler coming up.

You hate everything about the Nats. Guess LaRoche's homer sucked too.

It's just too bad it was LaRoche, whose pace could best be described as glacial.

Bo must want to end the game early. WTF. He's usually pretty good. Couple of really stupid decisions recently.

Right, he's not fast.  If it was any other hitter on the team other than Detwiler (or perhaps Gio), I don't think you send him.

Still, LaRoche never had a chance.
