No lineup from #Nats yet and Davey's not speaking til 5:30. Believe they want to see Werth take BP before making decision.

HRod starts, hitting 4th, Zimmermann optioned after PA announcer congratulates him on NL PoM award, Werth activated.

Book it.

He just got put on the DL.  He lives to cost us another game.

Can't cost us any games from the DL.

No, but he can when/if he gets reinstated onto the 25-man roster.

I don't get Werth in CF over Harper. Maybe his legs are fresher?

Harper is not a very good OF'er.

Harper is not a very good OF'er.

I think he's improved. But I guess what I'm really getting at is that I want to ease Werth in.

I agree that Werth is a better CF than Harper.

And Morse is not a good outfielder. Harper is OK.

Werth is going to be humiliated his first few games back, like Morse was. Not feeling good about tonight's lineup or our prospects of winning the game.

If Werth hurt his legs I would agree with you but it's his wrist.

Gotta break him in some time. Hopefully he'll surprise.

He won't be back before the rosters expand.  I can't see him making the playoff roster, if we have to make that decision.

Wasn't someone claiming that Werth would be inserted right into the middle of the order.

So I heard Zimmermann is getting an extra day of rest this week? How's that working, is he getting skipped on the doubleheader tomorrow?
