Thus, karma on my part. I didn't expect comeuppance to come within 30 minutes of the deadline.

yeah well that's why i was complaining to say lots can happen, there's a lot of time left in the season.  but to say foolishly we don't have holes and needs ... :lmao:

There will be the usual assortment of dipcrap interns from Chester & Cherry Hill, but probably (hopefully) nothing like the past infestations.

The advantage of a weeknight fixture - at least we usually don't get the bus-loads.

Ugh, looks like a throw away lineup with no intent to win :|

In my defense, I never claimed to be friends with Screech.

I really don't have much of a problem with tonight's lineup. Outside of no Zimm it's our regular lineup.

This is my last tweet before the game tonight. Looking forward to seeing what the #NatFanatics think of our new third baseman. =)

Might be a long-term thing

Fake tweets from real accounts and real tweets from fake accounts are the same in my eyes.

Zimmerman was traded for John Jaso straight up.

Not worried about Moore. I think he has been swinging a good bat.

What about DeRosa? Have you even bothered to look at what he's done since coming off the DL?

April (before DL)  .081/.227/.081
June (after)          .333/.571/.667
July                     .294/.368/.471

Tom - don't let facts get in the way of preconceived notions formed on the basis of small samples.

DeRosa is a 25th man at this point.

Hopefully in the future Tracy is above him in the pecking order if Zim can't go. I think we'll hit Cliff ok but DeRosa being out there is really concerning unless Slateman is right that this is DeRosa's last hurrah before Werth/Desmond get back.

I wouldn't expect Desmond back in the next three weeks.

True.

Who does Werth bump? DeRosa and keep a short infield? Or Moore?

Ideally, Rodriguez.

All logic would say that it would be HROD who is gone once Werth is back.
