Ok, could you explain to me why you picked out the most banal, pedestrian comment posted since the EXPLOSION of other comments about Davey Johnson in the last 15 minutes or so?  Why pick my post?

Because, dude, you specifically said TWICE this season that the Nats are a playoff team, while Davey Johnson has been the manager.

Now you're saying they can't make the playoffs with him.  I understand that you're the most negative panic monkey on earth and you can't help but blast anyone associated with the team when things go badly, and I generally just let you have at it, but I'm going to mock you if you can't keep your story straight.

How am I responsible for anything.  My first comment was late and my second was banal and pedestrian.

...and my reason for suspecting that this team won't make the playoffs with Davey Johnson as manager is because he makes decisions that are completely inexplicable (and costly) like he did today and there's no reason to expect him to stop doing it.

So all those other playoff teams he's managed he managed differently?

Will there be a costly error in these horrible conditions or will they just hit a bomb?

Davey has forgotten more about baseball than any of us will ever know, but he is not above question.  His 7th inning manuevers were curious to say the least starting with removing our most dominant pitcher after on 89 pitches.  Keep in mind, this comes only 3 days after admitting he got too cute and blew the Braves game.

Didn't he learn his lesson last time after taking out Storen in the same situation after retiring Wright?

Yes.  He's not as good a manager now at 69 as he was then.

Not even close.  I'm not even in the top 10 in this forum alone.
