The worst news is that the Giants are likewise taking it in the ass today so the Braves will grab that game back that we stole last night.

I think Gio let the all-star game go to his head a little bit.   Thinks he can cruise through his career and will be a perennial all-star and first ballot HoFer.  It takes a little effort Gio, just a little more than that.

lol

Stammen looks awful, gee thanks Davey for having him sit for a week without pitching.

are you posting this simply based on the fact Gio hasn't pitched all that great teh last few outings which happen to be around the all-star break?

I'd be so mad if I had went to this game today. It's probably hot as hell, and now you're subjected to a blowout.

David Wright is batting .481 with 4 HRs against the Nats this season. That's unacceptable.

Why, he's going to win the NL MVP assuming he doesn't get injured.  Deservedly so.

So we're continuing our tradition of choking on sweep days.  Awesome.

And Gio was going to have days like this.  It's like Clip - sooner or later the HRs were going to come.  Honestly, I'd rather lose 14-1 today and win the series and have Clip give up two homers and still make the save.

And that means we should just oblige him and throw him nothing but meatballs and puss out?
