The homer he gave up tonight ended a 19 inning scoreless streak.

I wonder where he'll show up in top-100 lists, if at all. He's old for his league due to the late start to his career, but the scouts really love his fastball and breaking ball and project both as plus.

75-100 range? I'm guessing we end up with none in the top 50, but five in the next 50 - Giolito, Rendon, Meyer, Goodwin, Karns. Giolito and Rendon falling due to injury concerns but with potential to be top-25 guys after next season.

Nice reload.

I was thinking around 82-84.

I highly doubt Karns will be in any Top 100 lists. That would be a shocking but pleasant surprise.

Well scouts love stuff. Mid-90s gas combined with a power breaking ball gets you noticed real fast. Plus there's the narrative of former first round talent finally putting it all together.

It wouldn't surprise me if some lists had him in that last 20. Just depends on how the narrative builds.

Why don't you just subscribe to BA or BP or whatever site you're always wanting an article from, rather than asking everyone to do your bidding?  Are you poor?

If anyone posts it, I'll report you to BA for terms of use violation.

lol, you are a subscriber? I can't believe they charge, they should be grateful that people go to their site and give them hits. How can they justify charging?

Uh, how do you think they make money? You know, since they're a for-profit publication? "Being grateful" is for random bloggers.

"I'd like you to travel around the United States on your own dime and give me free updates on how a few hundred prospects are doing on a weekly basis, if not more often. Please feel free to pay for your own servers and bandwidth. And if you don't like it, dance for me, monkeys!"

Don't you know, everyone including baseball players work for SF's approval. They don't deserve crap unless SF says they deserve it.

As ridiculous as SF is, I will say it's bullcrap that BA doesn't have a one-month option for subscription.

Edit, that line was wrong. Nats_prospects makes lots of mistakes.

6 IP 8 H 3 ER 2 BB 10 K. ERA up to 2.26.
