Sorry milten but you get overruled. The Colorado radio guy also called it a flare. 
I deleted the comment. It was a foolish mistake on my part.
... A flare should be a hit IMHO. Obviously these media guys don't have a clue.
Then again, if Kristina would say "flare", I'm all in.
