Caps skating well.

Thought they'd score on that 5-3.5 man advantage.  (Counting the guy who lost his stick as a half)

That's the kind of act of god I'm used to seeing benefit the Caps' opponents in the playoffs.

Couldn't give it to him. No angle showed it actually go past the line.

Yep.  It has to be conclusive evidence, and the puck wasn't in sight on the replays.

I'm STILL nervous with a minute to go.  Last year's game 6 scarred me.

This is going to be a good series. Could definitely go 7.

Nice win.

The Caps have more talent than the Rangers. If Holtby can at least match Lundqvist or be close to him(and he's proven he's a big time playoff goalie after last year), and the Caps don't wet the bed as they've done in years past, we should win this series without too much of a fuss.

Lucky blue eagle Bondra jersey, check (unwashed since the Caps went on a tear at the beginning of March...getting pretty ripe)

Unlucky NYC subway boxer shorts, uncheck (they are hidden in a metal box for the duration of this series...though they seem to work very well against Canadian teams, so I'm not burning them just yet)

Lucky 2004 Brood X cicadas baseball tee to go under lucky Banzai jersey, check

I feel like I should burn a pastrami on rye on F street before the game, but that kind of crap is probably unwise these days.

Superstitious, moi?
