it's not a very good draft anyways.  The top 3 players are 2 centers and a SG.  We just drafted beal so we won't take shabazz and Nene would block Noel or Zeller.  I could see Ernie trading down.

No way they trade the pick.  They need talent more than they need to fit position.  They lack talent everywhere.  Nene and Seraphin are decent players (when Nene can stay healthy).  The other guys they have are garbage.  Beal plays well some games and terribly some games.

Please get Nene in there and run a play for him down low.

If the game was .1 second longer, they would have won.  Sad face.

it will really suck when the Wizards lose 70 games this year and fail to win the draft lottery.

It's already happened to the Mystics this year - they finished with a league-worst 5-29 yet finished fourth out of four in this year's lottery. Wouldn't surprise me.

Is tonight the night?!  Bobcats-Wizards - can you feel the excitement?!

Grundfeld and Leonsis are killing this team.  Nobody cares about the Bullets/Wiz, even with no hockey this year.

76 actually - 92-76, our worst loss of the year to date and in fact it's our only loss this season by more than 10 points (that's what makes it extra irritating - a little more consistency, a bit more 48-minute concentration and we'd have salvaged a few of those matches).

Bobcats are actually off to a halfway decent start this season (6-5).

I wonder what the odds are that the Wizards lose them all.

Webster, Nene, and Okafor need to be on the court together more often.

Chance to win it here. Just don't miss the first free throw, dude.

The Bobcats won 7 out of 65 or whatever games last year.  They have 3 of their players who have fouled out.  Nene's supposed minutes limit lasted all of one game as they are desperate to win their first game.

And as I type this, again they give up an offensive rebound on a missed free throw to go down by four points in double OT.

And they f'ing lose again.  Hopefully Nene is not out for another month because of this.

Didn't look like he was in any pain. Just looked tired.

Another tough loss.

Nene is one of the smartest players in basketball.  Most of the rest of team is a collection of the dumbest.  Led by Jordan Crawford.  And the guys that aren't that dumb are either injured (Wall, Booker) or aren't NBA caliber players (Singleton, Vesely).

Any issue with Nene will show up tomorrow or the day after.  Given the team's history with injuries (even this particular injury - remember Mark Price's glorious year with the Bullets?  He had plantar fasciatis and played like 5 minutes that year), I wouldn't be suprised by the worst possible outcome.

Another day, another blowout for the Wiz.  Lose in double OT one game, lose the next game in craptacular fashion.  They have gotten absolutely schooled by a far superior Spurs team.

God awful  ...  I leave around the half and they're down by a few.    I come back and they're down by 21.   If Leonsis has any sense of decency, he'll fire Grunfeld tonight.    This is a scam of the first degree.

Ya know, Ted Leonsis is part of the problem as well.  He refuses to fire the guys who absolutely suck (SEE: Grunfeld, Ernie)
