I nominate spidernat to create an Orioles GameDayThread!  Perhaps a theme based on the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man"?

Very funny you should mention that.   I was just going to post that Emma Stone should be our unofficial good-luck mascot.

And! ... she is in the new Spiderman movie:

I'd forgotten how nauseous it is to watch these games on MASN. Surely the player of the game will be a bird for all three games.   :hang:

"Player of the Game" is done by the Orioles on MASN but not by the Nationals.  So they're used to texting votes for an O's player, no matter what's happening.

Note that Ryan Howard is still a top All Star vote getter in 2012, over LaRoche, despite the fact that he hasn't had one AB in 2012.

Can't stand that MASN chick they've got up there, Kristina is hotter and not nearly as annoying.

Watching those guys from Miami, I'm so glad that the Nats will never try to buy a championship, what a hollow victory for those poor fans.

Looking at the radar, it doesn't look like much is going on in Baltimore so hopefully we'll play ball soon.

Never a 100% chance they're not playing until the game is called.

I imagine the game will get underway around 8-8:30 tonight.
