Golly, Lombo out and AnKiel in. Ugh.
Since Lombo made a great diving catch to preserve the win for Strasburg, he needs to be removed for a defensive replacement... (in a one-run game, when the offense shut down.)

Earlier in the season, Ankiel hit a home run and was subsequently replaced for a pinch hitter.

In DaveyLand, you do NOT continue to play a player when he's hot.

Huge!

Man, the Rays offense isn't much better off than ours.

Peralta ran onto the field to a chorus of boos.

Peralta ran onto the field to a chorus of boos.

Then, seeing Davey headed out of the dugout, he turns and runs back into the 'pen.

Are the Orioles really going to get shutout in all 3 games of the Mets' series?

Remember when relief pitchers used to be driven into the game on golf carts?

Now they all run in from the outfield.

When did that start happening?

Worst offensive performance I think we've seen in years.

Let's hope they can win in spite of it. Let's go Clip!!

Can't get Harper 3 PA in a game where three runs score. Eight innings, but still pathetic considering he got on base twice.
