As a 28 yr old, I'd also never heard of these carts and cars. freaking awesome.

The whole concept is awesome, and one I'd never heard of or seen before tonight. Thanks for posting the images. I'd probably have gone my entire life without ever knowing about them had it not been for your post.

No sweat.    That's what I'm here for.

As a 28 yr old, I'd also never heard of these carts and cars. freaking awesome. Those things were pimped out to the max and insanely cool. Baseball lost something taking those out. God, having Clippard and company driven to the diamond by a pimped out Nats Golf Cart? Holy crap would I pay to see that for just one game.

The baseball caps as the tops for the carts is just awesome. The whole concept is awesome, and one I'd never heard of or seen before tonight. Thanks for posting the images. I'd probably have gone my entire life without ever knowing about them had it not been for your post.

Same here... they HAVE to bring them back for at least one game... a retro night? Make it happen! Bring back Bill Veck!

Thanks so much RL04!

Serious question....should Clippard remain the closer when Storen comes back? Or no way in hell?

No.

He'll go back to setup... get traded in the offseason because he wants to close and we'll get a big piece in return for him.

I'd let Storen set up until he got comfortable. But I think I'd go with Storen after a few.

432 looks unrelated... but did I come up with the same expression as someone else? Wouldn't be surprised.

ATTENDANCE at this match: 27,485

:uk:

Marquis De Sade came closest to picking the actual attendance in the latest YNOT Guessing Game thread with 27,135.

Keep Clippard at closer. Trade him in the offseason. Profit

We have Clippard locked up until 2016, why trade him?

Three years more of arbitration for a top setup guy? You think the Lerners are suddenly going to be ok paying a reliever 6-10 million a year. and he's not even our closer? Doubtful

All they have to do is put him back in the setup role and do everything possible not to let him get saves (like they were already doing) and they won't owe him that much.  They're paying him under $2 million this year, which is a fraction of his market value.

He'll request a trade to be a closer then. I don't think he's here three years from now... one way or another.

Worst win of the year?  Only ONE baserunner after the first inning, who was promptly erased on Ryan Zimmerman Special (he's REALLY starting to worry me).  Our #2 batter only came up to the plate three times.  We were lucky to get this one, but this was - at least for the final eight innings - our worst offensive performance of the season.

Let Storen & Burnett share the setup role for at least a month to see how Storen is performing
