He's not a reliever or a catcher, so I don't think it signifies anything for the big club, do you?

Xavier Nady has a lower batting average than Matt Stairs did last season and he's batting .156 against lefties.  He's supposed to be part of the platoon that plays against left handed pitchers.

Nady is not going anywhere. He provides veteran leadership

  • Myer and Travis and Rice, and Bucky to manage...
1. Have Brown replace Nady
2. When Mattheus returns, Lidge leaves (or sooner...)
3. Yankee announcer noted that Espinosa can't hit LH against RHP; Lombo has very low BA hitting RH against LHP. Therefore: platoon Lombo and Espi at 2B; move Brown to LF.
4. Find a place for Tyler Moore (platoon with LaRoche?)

This would be the greatest post of all time if you were serious.

I have a strange feeling that there will be significant changes before the trading deadline.  Maybe LaRoche or Bernadina.

If Moore shows that he belongs, then AR becomes expendable as he will not be resigned next season.

It doesn't matter.  He played tonight so there's nothing to see here.  >:(

...and Nady keeps his job for another day.

Oh, I get the reference. I didn't know that Mr. Brown had anythign to do with that little bit of trivia. Wasn't he like 12 at the time that was filmed?

on the pre-game Davey said he thought Nady was swinging the bat better and that he had to get him more starts to get him going.  I hope he was kidding.

Look up Corey Brown's pre-MLB history and you'll get the connection.
