Arizona looks like the weakest team out of all of em to me, excited to see South Carolina play because one of my former teammates is on the squad

Not all on Appel.  His defense was pretty terrible behind him from what I understand.

has anyone noticed that the guns seem to be registering consistently low readngs?  The highest reading i've seen so far is 90 mph and i know plutko for UCLA can thro harder than that.

In college they just don't throw as hard, it's more about movement

adam plutko is a top 2013 college draft eligible arm and he was topping out at 88 mph in the third.

I wouldn't assume that.  The college game can be funny sometimes.

Based on what I'm watching neither of these teams even look the part for the CWS.

You're right any team can win on any given day, but I wouldn't pick either of those teams to win. Looking at your name had me wondering if you go to the CWS every year? Must be an experience

I grew up going to it.  Also worked on the grounds crew at Rosenblatt for 5 years.

Mooneyham pitches tonight at 7. I don't know if it's on TV anywhere.
Might be ESPN2.

Yeah FSU is on ESPN2. This Florida/NC State game has been good, played against Florida's starting third basemen last year he's a beast.

Wow!  Stony Brook wins in Baton Rouge!  They'll be Omaha's team next week, no doubt.

Kent St. is wearing some gorgeous unis.  Oregon's are pretty sharp, too.

It's amazing that they have only had a team since like 2005 after a 30 year hiatus from baseball.

They went out and bought the best coach in the country.  They're probably a little ahead of schedule, but I'm not shocked they've made it to this stage.

Watch out for my neighbor and former teammate Evan Beal in the USC game, should come in to pitch at some point

Sad scene in Eugene today, hurts me to see players feeling like this after being so close to glory
