Does this finally put the Wang situation to rest?  Detwiler > Wang
Both of them have not pitched up to par. Lannan would probably outpitch both in the Majors.

Now he can't get anyone out. Well, that's not true. That implies he could get people out before...

Wang's luck ran out. Oh the Duda Day!
5th   L Duda homered to right center, K Nieuwenhuis scored.

Rosenbaum > both those bums

That's yet to be seen.  Though Oswalt > Wang and he was available as late as two weeks ago.

Wang doesn't deserve to be in the rotation honestly.

Ball four was two feet outside.  Unacceptable.

Just bring Lannan up.  He was crap in AAA last year too and ended up being fine.

This isn't a losing bullcrap team anymore, why must we keep his sorry ass in the rotation? This is not acceptable like it used to be in the past. They had a short leash on Detwiler and I hope the same is true for Wang. Lannan better keep pitching well.

Detwiler has a 3.76 ERA, 3.73 FIP, has (some) upside, hard throwing lefty.

Not really a terrible five starter.

Come on guys, it's 2 ER in 5 IP.  That's not exactly horrible.  He's been dancing in and out of trouble, but if this were three years ago and his name was Livo, we'd all be saying "Classic Livo.  We have a shot to win."

The problem is they're getting Dickey's knuckled balls shoved down their throats.

Not even close. He has non existent command. This experiment has to end if we are serious about winning.

I really wish Davey would go with Det again. He had some bad outings towards the end, but I think he's got room to grow and could be a great end-of-the-rotation SP relatively speaking. I feel like Wang has reached his plateau, not to mention he's only here for this year as it stands right now.
