Working him in slowly would be fine, but not working him in at all worries me. I could see him playing a game here and there with plenty of rest between, slowly coming up to speed. But not playing at all means that when he does start playing he has to come up to speed faster, and that means higher injury risk. I'm quite sure they all know this and he would be playing if he could. That's what worries me.
