How long does cortisone last anyway? If it's worn off and the shoulder healed during that time, then that's fantastic. But if somehow it's still masking his pain and will wear off in the future, that's scary.
I doubt it's healed. As I understand things, it's a pain management thing. I also believe that the effects of cortisone will be different for everyone. It will last longer for some than it does for others.
