I think I was punished for even entertaining the notion, as the skies opened up almost immediately.

This "stuff" looks like it's going to be continuing for a few more hours.

We turned around halfway there.

Unfortunately we missed the trombones but at least didn't waste the trip otherwise.

I'll bet all of the stadium staff love having the team wait until the 11th hour to call it.

The trombones were able to play?

How do rainout tickets work out?

Do we have to go to the re-scheduled game?
Can we exchange for a different game?
Exchanging, I guess, means going to the box office which is not going to happen anyway.

Does the parking garage ticket work on the new date?

Thanks.

I would have like to have known what the new world record would be for number of trombone players hit by lightning at the same event.

They said on 106.7 that there were trombones on the field so I assume they played.

Yeah, I agree.  But the organizers said "rain or shine."

When we heard lightning, hail and tornado we turned around.

Son's safety comes first.

Hmmm.  I guess the Booz Allen building would get the first strike, but I still wouldn't be all that keen on carrying a big piece of brass around a field in this crap.

They were there and they were under tents due to bad weather but I don't know that they were able to perform.

Nats pitching rotation to remain intact - Strasburg going Saturday and Gonzalez on Sunday; Braves pitchers TBA.

There's no way the Braves go with Minor tomorrow.
