I think that guys may actually sign away negotiating rights solely to Boras. As in, they cannot legally sign a deal without his ok. This is pure conjecture.
I don't think that is legally possible, but I bet they verbally tell Boras that he handles the negotiations then Boras tells the clients to shut up to the team and media.
