Apparently Harper got "That's a clown question, bro." trademarked and Under Armor is going to turn it into a marketing campaign

The moment has passed. Now it's a cliche.

Am i the only one who has noticed Harper seems to be a lot more of a free swinger lately?

Side note.  Saw someone wearing a red jersey, 34, with BAM BAM across the back!   :mg:

League is starting to figure him out. Low and away and he can't do anything

That's a bro question, clown. He was hitting that pitch for weeks earlier in the season.

It's a tit for tat situation.  He got the upper hand early, they've adjusted, now it's his turn to adjust in kind.  He will.

That, bro, was a statement, not a question.

Yep. I think he noticed that, finally. That last hit was a nice flip of the wrists and slapping it in to left.

This is amazing

Here is an amazing Bryce Harper stat: That was the 1st double play he's hit into all YEAR. Including minors. Has just 10 professional GIDPs.

Nice.  If he were still a catcher, he'd be like the anti-Pudge, who sometimes managed to GIDP even when there was nobody on base.

Not really amazing.    Harper is not Ryan Zimm.

That stat is amazing. I don't care who you are, for a 19 year old rookie, it's ridiculous

If this is him slumping then those are amazing numbers.

This the beginning. Breaking balls low and away. Everyone knows it now. Bryce has to adjust.

I thought this would have happened much sooner. Hopefully he adjusts, if not he can call up Darryl Strawberry and ask for best post-curveball flailing strut recommendations.

All he has to do is stop swinging at them.  Though, getting some decent umpiring would help too, cause he needs to get the calls if he lays off.

No, he approached low/outside breaking balls fine for his first several weeks in the majors. (http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index.php/bryce-harper-is-making-history/)

His swing just looks like crap right now.

When he first got here, he was patient at the plate and just looked to make contact. Now he's trying to crush everything. He needs to get back to taking what the game gives him. Singles to left are fine from our number 2 hitter.

word.

Is it me or does it seem like he's pulling off the ball more now? I know his shoulder has flown open since he got to the majors, but everything seems more extreme now.
