Willie Mays used to wear his cap on the top of his head so it would blow off when he was chasing a fly ball. I don't remember anybody calling him a punk.

If I hit a homerun, I'd do the lawnmower dance around the bases. Then my next homerun, I'd spread my arms out and fly around like an airplane.

I would do the airplane celebration after every walk-off, big fan of that one

I'd offer high-fives to every infielder I passed and when they refused I'd say something obnoxiously happy like "Cheers, mate!" or "Wheeeee!"

My walk off homer in the world series would be a train animation. I'd shuffle my feet back and forth while pumping my elbows. Suck it haters.

If they didn't give you a high five, junk punch'em.

Best walk-off celebration: you hit a no-doubter and do the jerk-off motion with your hands before you start running the bases. The other team/broadcasters/ESPN would lose their crap :lmao:

Said it before, I'll say it again, I want to see Bryce Harper brawling;

I can't wait for the day Bryce Harper is in the majors and in his first game against the Phillis he is thrown inside on by Hamels/Halladay, charges the mound, and begins a brawl (that Clint and Terrance continue in the stands).  I will be so proud.

Have you seen how big he is? There aren't going to be too many guys wanting to mix it up with him.

The only time I ever hit a walk off HR was my first game of my senior year in HS.

I felt like I didn't have control over my body. By the time I realized what had happened, I was almost in LF because I had took such a wide turn rounding second wooooing as I went around the bases with both arms raised in the air like an idiot.

I distinctly remember giving our head coach (who was third base coach) a high five and yelling "It's my year nag!". I proceeded to go 7 for 41 that year.

At least you hit a homer. I should've played ball in high school.

As much as I hate baseball's tradition of throwing bean balls, I'd be completely in favor of it if an opposing team threw at Harper. What exactly was so "punkish" about knocking his helmet off? Do any of these talking heads talk about how damn hard Harper hustles? It's nice to see a young phenom actually play the game right, but I suppose that's not as interesting as him throwing off a loose helmet.  :roll:

it looked like his helmet was about to fly off on its own, is it any worse to throw it off than to tap it when you go around the bases after a HR?

I think doing the worm from third to home would be sufficient for me (maybe trying to order a beer on the way to first if a vendor is close enough)
