In this article from the Post about today's game, Harper says, "It's only a matter of time before I get going."

What I like more than anything about Bryce is that he is an outright terror on the base paths. He will take an extra base at the drop of a hat. On that hit to right field yesterday, he had already committed to take 2nd before Hayward bobbled just by noticing how casual He was playing it.
Hopefully the rest of the league will continue to underestimate him.

I guess it's still a dream to think that he'll make it to the AS game, but .278   .366   .495 is serious ROY stuff (Nieuwenhuis is .295   .367   .396   ), 11th in OPS in the majors among those with at least 97 ABs (which is what Harper has right now).

Watch the replay carefully, they briefly show the spot, it's real.

I think Harper was being facetious.  He knows he's doing very well indeed.

Calm down a tad!!!! Just keep a lookout for autograph days, eventually he'll be out in force, and get there early and line up.

i've been to 3 autograph days, typically it is relief pitchers or guys who are hurt.  Last time we went it was h-rod, coffey, laroche (rehabbing) and slaten.

Your best hope is to get to a game when the gates open and go down to field level during BP.  Otherwise, you can stand at the exit for the players parking lot and hope he'll sign, but there's usually a mob of people and it's only going to get worse.

I've only been to one and it was Jim Lett(seriously), Roger Bernadina, I think Severino, and I can't remember who else.

one other time we got Stammen, Detwiler, Storen, and the old 1B coach (can't remember his name).
