on the list of concerns, this is pretty low. I'd rather his decision making on when to slide be the focus of any sliding practice. the other thing is, do you really want him sliding over and over again in practice? Can you imagine the backlash if he injured himself sliding in practice?

by the way, the lousy GEICO commercial with baseballs appearing all around DC (Harper must be taking batting practice) is a national GEICO comercial and not just in the market.  One of the worst commercials I've seen in a while, especially coming out after the Trout Subway order commercial.
