ONCE AGAIN ... the club is winning.

davey has said all along he likes what bryce is capable of doing at the 2-hole (he's got pop, speed, can bunt, known for his good eye, etc).  is he struggling?  absolutely.  could he benefit from moving down?  probably.

but with the club winning and everyone else hitting well in their respective slots, i don't see a change forthcoming.

So? We were winning without Werth. Should he be riding the pine? How about Ian Desmond?

Harper is hitting .171/.257/.244 since the break. He's got no pop. No good eye. Poor contact. He can't bunt. He's more than struggling, he's hit a huge wall and isn't playing CF well enough to make up for his atrocious hitting. We're a team that is  fighting for the division, not playing to get to .500.

I'm with hammonds on this - I get the sense it's not so much that Bryce is struggling but how well everyone else is hitting in their slots as to why Davey's not willing to muck with the chemistry at this point

Because you're always trying to get better, that's why.
