Well they are union employees...
Anyway, back to Harper. I was talking with my teammates about the Nats and I was surprised at all of the hate for Harper. With the exception of my manager (A Yankee fan who has adopted the Nats as his NL team since he goes down to Ocean City to visit family and takes in a few games every year since 2007), everyone on my team thought he was a "punk kid" and doesn't deserve to be in the All-Star discussion. Some even went so far as to say that he's a douche that disrespects the game.I thought it was an interesting conversation since most everyone up here is a Yankee fan and it's assumed that he'll be at least courted by the Yankees after his contract in DC is up. It seems odd how many people have a negative opinion of Harper. Doesn't seem there's any factual basis for the negativity.
he did just help them win a world series
lol doyle is a complete turd, but i'm glad he's backing harper.i'm sorry, chipper doesn't belong to be there. not saying bryce does, but chipper sure as hell doesn't.
We are getting shown up by Braves fans and cardinals fans.
I'm mostly shocked that Freese is #2. Those StL fans are out of control.
Better than getting show up by Bryce Harper-only fans.
Where are these results posted ?
Hammonds, love ya, but I pretty much disagree with all of this...
You think Harper belongs there?
Yeah. I believe that the game needs it's stars there. Harper's as big of one as there is right now. I also think Chipper deserves to be there based on his career. I think it's good for legends to have one final moment on a stage like this. I also like Doyle.
By that logic, Ian Desmond shouldn't be on the roster.
