If anyone can get us back in the groove, it's Gio with his glorious smile.  Of course, Stras pitched a gem, so Gio could be great, and it wouldn't matter.  So take your pick as to which will happen.

And take LaRoche out of the lineup?  I thought he could play left field?

Davey is waving the white flag already.  :dibbs:

Hopefully Harper moves up with Moore in the lineup. Other than that, I guess all we can do is pray for runs. Personally not a fan of sitting LaRoche today.

he can play LF ... it's just one game to give LaRoche a day off against a lefty he's hitting .200 against.

Haven't seen full lineup yet, but there is this:

Adam Kilgore ‏
Bryce Harper is batting 7th, playing CENTER against lefty Chris Capuano. Werth in right, Nady in left. Moore not on card.

I'm guessing we'll see: Desmond, Lombo, Werth, LaRoche, Nady, Espinosa, Harper, Flores

Moore can't play if he's not listed on the card.

So he can't even pinch hit, then.

I don't understand why Nady is batting ahead of Harper.

Why bring him all the way to LA for one game when they are coming back home tomorrow?

They dont want the blame if todays game came down to needing a PH/PR or defensive replacement and they had sat on their hands.  I believe that type of thinking might be a thing of the past with this franchise.
