Just moved out to the west coast and seen a few curly W's.  Unfortunately, since wearing flat brimmed hats with the stickers are a new fad now, I think it was just a fashion statement.  It was quite obvious they were not nats fans but it was nice to see them out here.  GO NATS!!

Probably gang related.

Welcome to the forum, Ziggity.

West Side Connection.  The flat brims with the stickers left on was cool over five years ago, are they coming back?

Fads are like "the wave".  They just roll around for a while until they die of natural causes.

Just signed on to Xbox Live, saw this. Thought maybe it was only because of the area, but a friend in NY said he saw the same thing:

Aquaflage?

The Marines wear desert-ish camo now, which of course makes sense. The blue and grey navy camo from the battle dress unis is just purely to look like badasses.

If you see me on the Metro you will have a curly dub sighting, but I can't find my Nats tie

Continue to rock my Nats cap and some shirts on campus here at Kentucky. Rarely see any other Curly W's around here though as it's firmly Reds country here.

What do you take us for? lol
She is very pretty, but FWIW, a Nats cap automatically increases a woman's hotness rating by 2 points.

Yeah. The giggity post made me rethink it. It was jest, I hope, but it made me rethink it.

I asked her to send me pictures so that I could post one in this thread, but I realize now that there are no pictures with her in them that I'm willing to post here. Oh well.

It was definitely in jest. I would hope that you would have realized that. I don't blame you for taking it down though.

But that giggity thing is creepy. Was there a live-action Family Guy? Please say no.

I think Minty directed it at a local theatre.

Sighted last night...Washington Heights, NYC. Me, that is. Walking in from work, red home curly W hat, and a neighbor stopped, said, "Washington Nationals?"

"Yep. Forever", I said.

"Your guys are on fire!"

"It helps to have the best pitching in baseball", I replied. He agreed.

(Note: whenever I saw the red curly W, I always thought of Bob [curses] Short. Now I think of Ryan Z, Rick Ankiel throwing strikes from the warning track, and pitchers making the opponents miss badly on fast balls and curves and sliders. To me, this year erases the betrayal of 1971.)
